Ammonia Bicarbonate Food Grade is a vital ingredient for various cookies and biscuits. It is also called edible or food-grade “smelly powder” aka “tepung busuk”. It is a highly effective baking agent and does not affect flavor nor leaving any flavor affecting residues after baking. Thus, it is often used to substitute baking powder or baking soda as it has the advantage of producing more gas for the same amount of usage. Ammonium Bicarbonate is usually used to add light texture and crispiness to baked goods.
